Sometimes hotels are just a place to crash in-between outdoor adventures.
But when your destination is in rainy season, a hotel room turns into much more –
The Ocean Pointe Marriott Resort far exceeded my expectations.
Instead of the usual pastel pink wallpaper and seashell laden walls that you usually find in Florida hotels, you’ll discover fresh whites, deep reds and blues, and non cliché art.
Spacious fully loaded kitchen, beautiful balcony view, and, my favorites, a ginormous fluffy king bed and huge shower fill the apartment-style living space.
Saying the staff is friendly is an understatement, and the beaches are beyond gorgeous!
We saw so many jellies on the sand though, which was both really cool and scary since I still have nightmarish memories from being stung while at the Bahamian beaches long ago.
Before driving to the airport, Amber and I were in route from the Worth Avenue shopping center to the City Place shopping center and gaped at some pretty amazing homes, when we happened upon an idyllic coastal scene. Like any other pair of girls on their last day of vacation, we parked the car and took the opportunity to get some silly selfies.
On your next trip to WPB,
don’t forget to take the bridge to Singer Island and stay at the
